hi.during interview they asked me about current affairs n i unconsiously said i hv no interest in current affairs.i am really tensed,can this answer affect my chances of appearing in merit list?

I hope that he wouldn't write negative comments on your performance... Currrent Affairs is the major aspect of the interview dear.. Be careful for the next time..

Sentence completion 26 sentences English/ Urdu each. Time 7 seconds for each sentence.
Picture stories 4.. time 3.5 for each story..

Merit List k liye Allah se duaen karen... Allah bohat Musabib Ul Asbab hai

Don't worry. This interview has nothing to do with the merit list. If you are certain that you have performed well in initial test then your name will be definitely in merit list.

But sunny i think that if interview has nothing to do with the merit list then why they conduct initial interview??? Why they give special dates for the interview.. I by myself seen OC writing remarks in front of the candidate's name.. He was writing remarks like Confident and strongly recommended, Fair, little shy but good knowledge etc..
Then I personaly think that interview has something which candidates always miss..

@basit wat if the candidate does not knows the answer to any question do they deduct marks ? and are they lenient on girls bcoz most girls arent interested in current affairs as such

Well dear Misbah they do not deduct marks because they only write remarks.. u better be prepared for the interview.. The main factor is confidence. If you show confidence there which is being noted in your introduction then they put good remarks and forward your profile to the HRI.. Its not the always case that they ask questions regarding general knowledge or current affairs. They may ask only to introduce yourself in English..
