Good afternoon,

The qualification required for Case No.F.4 - 111/2015 - R (9/2015) is Masters. I have a BBA degree of four year duration and according to HEC's notification No. 8-1/HEC/A&A/2006/552, it is equivalent to Masters.

In the ad it is not mentioned Masters or "equivalent" as mentioned in previous ads, so my query is:
does my qualification make me eligible for the aforementioned case?

Thanking you in anticipation

Regards

From: fpsc
Dear Candidate,

1. For Equivalent Qualification, eligibility will be subject to Equivalent Certificate issued by HEC.

2. Equivalency will be accepted only when relevant equivalent degree is asked in the criteria of the post. Please read the online Advertisement carefully before applying as in some of the cases equivalent qualification is not required/asked and therefore will not be accepted.

3. Contact HEC for equivalency of your degree.

FPSC HQ
The second clause clearly states that 4 year graduates are not eligible, only Masters are eligible. :/

Four year degree is acceptable. Apply with confidence. Msc/BS issue is old settled case. Don't confuse people. Check HEC and FPSC sites for related notifications. M.Sc. is old degree BS is new.
For backup get an equivalence letter from HEC.

for all those who have 4 yearls bacelors degree apply with full confidence for AD FIA if you guys clear the written exam than u have to submit ur related documents and if FPSC objected that we are not eligible for the said post coz we have no Masters degree than there is clear way to go to SC or IHC coz its clearely indicted by HEC that 4 years bachelors is equivalent to masters..so go ahead

My dear, some departments require only Masters Degree obtained after bachelor degree. Those who require only 16 years of education clearly states Master degree or equivalent. This is very common you can confirm from any official. Now this is your right to approach to any court in this matter if you want to waste your money, because i am myself an advocate.

LLB holders are not eligible because LLB is Bachelor Degree not Master Degree, nonetheless it is obtained after graduation. If you possess LLM then you are eligible otherwise not eligible.
