i have received text message to appear for medical in director FIA LAHORE OFFICE on 6th february. i dont know whether others have also received text too.

i have recieved call and text to appear for medical in the office of director fia punjab office on 6th february at 9am sharp.

Do you have a Punjab domicile?
Have they used the word "medical" or "physical" in the sms? Because physical fitness tests have already been conducted few months back, prior to the interviews. Did you not give physical fitness test earlier?

The whole process is quite amusing. First time documents were sought in last February of 2016 which warned of cancellation of candidature if anyone failed to respond but later some of the candidates were again asked to furnish relevant documents during pre-selection phase. Meanwhile, physical tests were conducted months later and the call letter warned of loss of candidature if anyone failed to turn up at the right place on scheduled time.
Then again during interview documents were scrutinized. But this vicious circle did not end there as we are yet again back to physical fitness tests

No wonder, it takes so much time to complete a case. I have personally noted that by and large they stick to merit but this lukewarm process is really troublesome.

i have kp domicile. fpsc sent a list of some candidates to the ministry of interior for physical re-examination as there were some discrepancies in their previous physical tests. only chest and height measurements. my height was 5'10" and chest 39"-40" in first physical test at police lines peshawar.

yes fpsc takes time but they make it sure that there are no mistakes. NTS takes less time but we have to keep this in mind it is just a testing service and the remaining work is then done by a concerned department while fpsc has to complete all the process by itself. one should agree with me or not but fpsc has miraculously proved its credibility.

There is no comparison between FPSC and NTS. NTS is a tool for many organisations to malpractice. Although parallels could be drawn between provincial public service commissions and FPSC.

Has any body from Punjab received SMS or call for physical re-examination?
It's strange and disturbing that FIA itself conducted physical test under strict measures but FPSC felt doubt in the test and asked for re examination of certain candidates.

Another guy from Islamabad center received letter for re-examination at Lahore. However most of the guys didn't receive any sms , call or letter.... Please confirm if any other guy recieved??
