Let's find out what will be the cut-off merit. Simply select your Batch No, Province and expected marks range (select the options honestly). The more the people answer, the more clearer the cut-off merit will be.

This google form requires you to sign into your gmail account, but its totally anonymous so don't worry about that.

You're right. But the result says that 11 out of 77 have above 80 marks. Mostly people with hopes of higher marks don't share their marks, they probably don't wana jinx it. Let's say for every 10 guys above 80, only 1 participated in the poll.
Its safe to assume that approximately at-least 100 people got above 80, so the chances for people to qualify for the next phase, with marks below 80 (myself included) are quite slim, but you never know. Keep your fingers crossed.

Okay now after 97 poll entries, let's analyse the stats. See graph below:

Batch 1:
4 guys above 86
3 in 81-85 range
11 in 76-80

Batch 2:
No one above 86
4 in 81-85 range
7 in 76-80 range

I collected the data from google spreadsheet here, and created a graph to get a better understanding. You can view the graph here.
P.S. Google spreadsheets does not support 3D graphs so download the file and open it in MS Excel

Batch 1 scores are much higher then Batch 2. SO according to this sample, most of the guys going in the next phase will be from Batch 1.

After analyzing the graph I think guys with 80+ marks have high probability to qualify for the next phase.

For category A, there are 28 seats. Against each seat, 8 candidates will be called to English descriptive test. 28x8=224.

224 is a big number. I'd say don't loose hope, and keep your fingers crossed.

Senoirs, Please guide me about the selection process of Intelligence Bureau, i have cleared the written part.
They Said in advertisement that after the written test there will be psychological assessment and interview.
In psychological test what to expect ( i.e: Story writing, Sentence completion, personality Test, group discussion) or it will be simple personality test and sentence completion.
And interview will be technical or psychological or both types of interview will be conducted.
After recommendation from FPSC, how much time time do they take to issue offer letters to successful candidates??
Hoping here i get satisfying answer.
