Forget about all these things and let us come to the topic. Shah sb I am an Engineer and I am keen to join FIA as AD.Please tell whether Engineers are allowed to join FIA like CSS where Engineers and Doctors are encouraged for the civil service.
Your kind reply is very much needed to start preparation and further planning.

Thanks a lot for the quick reply.As i said above i have a four year engineering degree which is equivalent to Master degree as per HEC and i also have 2 years experience in the field of Engineering.It means according to your above mentioned criteria i am eligible to apply for the post.

As far as I know there is no requirement of 2 years experience for AD(IB) grade 17.

I have further confirmed it from the same posts as advertised last year. Here is the link to verify.

I rememeber this year in the ad for posts in Airport Security Force they asked for two years experinece for AD 18 Grade and just Master's degree for Grade 17.

BIBI Bushra..........Every department has their own rules and regulations.....IB ke paper ka pattren main ne bata dia hye....ju im not sure k they required 2 years exp or not,but in FIA u have to have 2 years exp,nither ur not eligible..
IB ka confirm nhn hye,but ho jaye ga,muger FIA ka confirm hye.

Second thing is that k aun ki requirments change hoteen rehteen hain...
FOR EXAPle

4 to 5 years back they hired Bachlor people as D.Director........baki app kuch dekh lo

Mr Shah first of all I want to thank u for being such a great source of information.I wanted to ask a few things.

1-The paper pattern for IB according to u has active/passive voice,direct/indirect and idioms having 5 marks each.Can u please explain how they are asked,the reason I m asking is that its a mcq paper.

2-When was the last time that vacancies for AD FIA were announced ,and do u have any info about future announcements.

IB and FIA are same pattern,FPSC k through 100 marks ka mcq's lia jata hye...
jis ki detail mai ne auper mention ki hui hye..


Dosri baat ye k IB ki announcement different tareqey se hoti he,wow ais tarah k jub IB ko loog chaye hotay hain to wow aik requsation bana kar Interior ministry ko send kar detay hain,ais ke baat aus ki approvel PM SECRETRAITE se ho kar FPSC ko send kar di jati hey........

jub ke FIA ki posts abb tak announce ho jani chaye theen,muger abb tak humari government ainsano ki tarah kaam karna start kare to kuch bane...
last year fia ki post may/june mai announced hoi teen..

The question asked by Kureshe was that when the posts of AD(FIA) were announced for last time.In May/June, 2007 the posts of Inspector (FIA) were announced, not of AD.According to my information the posts of AD were advertised back in 2004 for last time and new posts are expected soon.Secondly, Shah sb I have seen the previous add of 2004 in a Guide Book for AD(FIA).It demands qualification of Bachelor degree with five year experience whereas you have informed that the quaification is Master degree with two years experience.Please share your views regarding this.
