They never asked me for an equivalency! And if they have released this list on the 16th, then how am I supposed to get an equivalency cert. by Monday the 20th! This is beyond ridiculous. No communication. And how can anyone say that a 2 year MPhil is NOT equivalent to an MSc/MA. There is going by the book and then there is sheer mindless robotic subservience to procedure at the cost of substance.

I leave lucrative jobs in the private sector abroad to help my country and its people and they throw this rubbish technicality on my face? And then who is the impediment to progress when idiocy like this occurs? No sir, this is their mistake, and if they do not rectify it, I will take them to court. I will not take this lying down.
Probably, it was a clerical mistake and unluckily you were a target of it. They did give time and no equivalent cert was to be required, you just have to provide them the evidence that you have completed 16 years of education. Contrary to it, you have completed 18 years of education, which makes you more eligible than most candidates. In the end, it could only be a clerical mistake. Call them tomorrow probably they can rectify their mistake.

Dear call it robotic or automated response. But they are just testing service, they do not make decisions. If they had mentioned 16 years education, or this degree or equivalent, then it becomes your responsibility to arrange equivalency document by this time now. They will not consider equivalency until it is written on paper. I am telling you because I suffered from this dilemma in the past (and my name was removed from final merit list of DD NAB). Even now they asked me to send query form clarifying my age relaxation claim, though I have submitted all requisite documents with my application. So start making efforts. They are no Einstein, and require spoon feeding and re-feeding through out.

and yes, you might have given them ported number or there may be some issue on their part due to which you have not received sms. But again, they are not liable to any missed communication. You have to visit their website frequently to check for updates. This is NTS and this is Pakistan bro. You are completely at your own.

Regards

Dear xpedior,
I am Hasan Waqas Khan. I have appeared in DAD NAB interview. I have done MSc in Economics from PIDE, Islamabad and BA from Punjab University as a private candidate. At the time of interview, my BA degree was not issued, however I had the transcript of BA as well as MSc verified from HEC. They mentioned on the interview form, that was presented in front of the interview panel, that BA degree is missing. Would it be any issue? Right now I am in process of applying for BA degree to Punjab University and hopefully I'll get it in 2,3 weeks time.

@Hassan Waqas Khan

I am not sure about it dear. You shall ask from NAB HQ (HR Department), or take a provisional certificate from Punjab university mentioning that the degree issuance process takes time and your degree will be issued by this date and submit it to NAB (HR). Because it is candidate responsibility to provide complete documents as and when required. Employer, particularly like NAB are not bound to wait for your documents for declaring final result.

But this is my personal opinion. You shall come in contact with them directly.

Regards

xpedior, did you come to know your cce13 marks? and what do you suggest me, should I start studying or wait for the time table announcement? I see most of the qualifiers have accepted the SC's decision since they dont have any choice except it what I feel and some of them are already studying?
