Is this psychological test related to AD ISI or CSS? When we appeared in AD ISI psychological test back in 2002-2003 the test was of arround 4 to 6 hours. That contained all the steps of 1st day which have been mentioned by ENGLE but the second day test was not the part of AD ISI test. In addition to ENGLE’s post test also contained usage of Urdu words in sentences. Word was shown through play cards and was in air for only 10 seconds, after 10 seconds next word was displayed. It was really a speedy test. Speed was required for this test. You won't find any word of which you don't know the meaning. Words were very easy, you just need to use in positive sense and with great speed with short sentences. If you have eyesight problem do carry your eye glasses because in case you get last row to sit on, that may cause problem to see word clearly in such a short span of time under test pressure. Try to write each word on your answer sheet even if you can't complete the sentence within 10 seconds. That may help you in revisiting these incomplete sentences if by chance you find few seconds at any stage during that phase. At least write down the "word". There will be some words which consume 2 to 5 seconds to use in the sentences because these are so common words that you have some crammed sentences in your mind. These words save your time to look back at those words which you could not complete in previous minutes. So utilize that saved time for the incomplete sentences. This technique helped me a lot. There will be some words which are normally used in famous quotes, sayings, phrases, proverbs and maxims do use these proverbs, maxims for using these words. This will help you a lot because these proverbs and maxims are always in our mind like crammed stuff from our early classes. There may be a change in test pattern, do confirm from the last batch if any change took place. My suggestions are on the basis of 2002-2003 tests.

Hi Friends,
I passed AD MOD written held in 2006 and cleared its psych test held in 2007 (Karachi). I failed to clear interview. And a bit surprise to me, this time I failed in written Raz is correct. Phsyc test was of 1 day or u can say few hours. All written tests. I don’t remember all but very similar to the ‘first day’ details posted by ENGLE. Try to recheck if there was any batch in 2008. As far as I remember, guidelines for phsyc test were given in call letter. You can refer to the book of Iqbal A. Bhatti & Tahir A. Bhatti, only prepare relevant tests (leave the tasks and other items). I believe anybody who clears written can easily go through Phsyc test with little preparation. Most important thing required is POSSITIVE APPROACH. Second is PROMPT ANSWER, you will not get time for any second thought. During the test never waste time looking other candidates for any help or to see what they are doing. Give HONEST ANSWERS, be yourself and avoid fake responses. Before going to test, try to discover yourself (point by point). Good things/habits in you, bad things/habits in you, what your friends think about you etc Try to get seated in mid of row as power failure is an issue and mic goes off. Last bencher of every row also collects answer sheets from his row after each test If I remember anything important will post later. Good luck. |
