it was a 13 mintue long interview. first of all self introduction , then few personal questions but that too of a very general nature. Furthermore the remaining questions were from academic brackground which one holds. It was a panel of 5 and all the members were really kind souls and conducted the interview in a very cordial ambiance. The only thing one needs is to stay calm and in good control over the delivery of words.

AOA,my interview for a.d(ministry of defense) held on 6th august.The interview board comprised five members.All were very co-operative.They asked me the following question,
1.introduce urself?
2.what r u doing as u hv completed ur degree in 2006?
3.which ur favorite area in literature(ENGLISH)?
4.who is ur fav critic?
5.D'nt u think critics are parasites?
6.what do u know about "Poetics"?
7.what do u know about this job?
8.is any one from ur family in army,navy or air-force?
9.what was main focus of G-8 summit?
10.what do think about Indian aggression?
11.what r ur hobbies?
12.do u use internet?
13.do u chat on internet?
so friends these were question which were asked to me and i used best of my abilities to answer these correctly.do pray for me.tc

There're the same questions as are shared by the fellows, just want to add two important points:

1. (In Islamabad) Interview Panel consisted of 7 members n the sitting arrangement was noticeable; as I feel. It was a U shaped arrangement with the leading person in front of you and the 3 each were on his right as well as the left side. They were behind the table, which was arranged in U shape as mentioned above, but the important point is you're 100% visible to them; no bench in front of you. So you're visible head to feet; be conscious!! ;p
There's a multimedia screen, behind you and in front of the panel, containing your bio data assisting them about the person in front of them.

2. The second important point, which at least I could not expect, was the question; 'Do you know where you have applied?' n then there was the question 'what do you know about it?'. So, if you make ur way to interview, make sure u have enough idea about it.

The rest is about ur interests, questions n counter questions..

The security clearance of finally selected candidates is under process.

What do you mean by security clearance here?
Is it like FPSC or different sort of security clearance. In FPSC, all candidates who have been interviewed go through this process as in a man from IB etc visits house and finds out information about candidate.
Can you kindly please tell me what sort of process is it????
