i am confused about the sylabus and pattern of ad isi,, few days ago someone told me that the ad isi pattern has been changed and that will some kind of IB pattern and will composed of 100 marks MCQs. But the intel is not confirmed in this forum or any other forums. I implore you all, please vindicate the rumour..

ISI is not that transparent in terms of selection. E.g. in their recent hiring they simply flunked all those "Poetential Leader / future top spys" who unfortunately did NOT have any blood ties in either Army or ISI itself.

They considered only those who had someone very close working in the two institutions; rest they were scruplous / "suscpicious" about in the name of SECURITY.

I don't like this at all.

WARNING: A BLOODY PURE CIVILIAN without any close ties in / with Army should drop his hopes of joining ISI. Don't tell me I didn't inform you when finally after a fruitless wait and process of two years all of your dreams are shattered and you won't have an idea why you were dropped.

Asslamo Alikum! Seniors Plz help me in AD Test. AD paper 2008 main essay ke paper main yeh note likha huwa hai "Use para and group heading for clarity" . Kia ab Essay main Headings Dena pare ge. Jb k Essay Main kabhi Headings nahin likhte sirf Outline huwa karte hai.

I am so much great ful and thank you to S.H VIRK,for guiding me and putting the purpose of thread on right way ,dear all this purpose has been started to take guide lines from seniors such like S.H VIRK and RAAZ G and other seniors .I am so much thankful to dear Virk that he has given very good lines for prep.As AD posts have been announced so i would request S.H VIRK and RAAZ G and other seniors to please share their plenty of knowledge .Those who their time in deciding is ISI carrer is good or bad .I adviise first they get selected then decide whether to join or not .I am of the opinion that there are many my friends in ISI they are leading very esteemed life and on showing performance they get very good opportunities here and abroad .Many examples are in front of me.I once again request above named seniors to please share their more knowledge so that we juniors should get guidance,I once again thanj Virk the great

Unfortunately, I disagree with Sikander sahab on stance of ISI Recruitment!

Alhamdulilah, I have my own uncle as DD now and a friend recently joined as AD, they both doesnt belong to army background.
Induction in ISI as AD is purely on merit, yes you will encounter so many other vacancies there which are influenced by army personnels, I have heard so.

Niaz Sahab, what you need for preparation? Polish your essay writing skills, read about current and pass exclusive general knowledge and esp country facing challenges nowadays.
