Default Questions for Wolverine

Dear brother,

Many thanks for such useful posts. Indeed they provide useful insite about this job. I have a few questions.

1. You mentioned that SI and AD both had the same exam paper. if this is the case, then why apply for SI and not AD? Since You can get a better job on the same level of intellect, and preperation and taking the same exam? Please comment.

2. What is the criteria (age and education requirements of ) for SI?

3. Do you know who will sort out our initial applications? I mean a JOC or NOC or some officer? I mean once we send our applications and documents, who checks them and selects candidates to appear ro the 1st exam? (I know this is a strange question ut do answer i u know.)

Kind regards

god of war...........

@ quest 1: yes, u are right that i shud hav applied for Ad rather than SI, but it post of AD were first announced and i wasnt aware of it, then when SI post were advertised, and i applied for it then.
@ Q 2: Age limit is 30 and educational requirement was Intermediate with 45%marks.
@ Q 3: All Aplications will be processed by recruitment dept and then test letters are issued.
I hope this will clarify,

Well dear there is no concern book for MOD test papers. its all based on General and Current affairs. so u need to have a book like >>> ( Who is who and what is what ) the recent edition. and also try to dig out yourself about top recent going issues on newspapers and on internet and get point and hints from it such that you can write a good essay on it.
Best of luck.

you are right there are only 25 seats as per the advertisement but its still on the discretion of MoD to increase or reduce the number in any circumstance as may be suitable to them.

Secondly, for mcqs you should prepare from a book titled 'General Knowledge by Caravan Publishers'. Its so far the good book for preparing for mcqs part.. However, you cannot ignore newspaper where you find many updates everyday including so many changes in political leadership around the globe which may prove the referred book as 'misleading' or 'incorrect' since it was published few months ago.

Finally, I would advise you to appear in test - you never know what He has in store for you.

Good luck!

Regards,
