Dear members,

Today I got a very strange information, and wanted to share it with my dear fellow members as well as ask you all if u have heard the same.

I was discussing the advertised post with a friend of mine and he said that MoD also advertises for BS 19 scale jobs ?!?! Now this freind is a reliable source as he himself is DD in FIA.

However I wanted to discuss this issue in CSS forum, Is there any credence to this statement of his? I mean does MoD advertise for a direct BS 19 scale job? If yes what are the educational and age requirements.

Sorry Brother, but this isn't true at all. MOD highest grade selection for civilian is only AD BPS 17. so this news that u heard is not true. If they want to recruit Bps 19 scale Job, then it will be an Army man being brought in Dept on Deputation.

Yes, they do hire on 18 scale but rarely on 19 - rather I have never seen / spotted a BS19 ad. However, they hire for BS18 as well. But intel. experience of 5-7 yrs is must i.e. either you have served IB or FIA or any other organization then you are eligible otherwise you can not apply.

Dear Wolverine and Sikander,

thanks for your replies, much appreciated.

In the mean time even i checked with a few more sources who acknowledged what Sikander is saying. Jobs are announced but not for BS19, and rather for BS18. and 5-7 years of intel experience in required.

I also heard that a PhD degree is a must, can you guys find out if this is true?

Secondly, what are the age limits and Hiring scheduled. Are they advertised periodically or randomly and as required.

I already know the answers but Im sure you will agree its always better to double check, (after all we aspire to work for intel agencies) kind regards, god of war...........
