Lol. Ms. MS, The best means is of course going by Air which would cost approx.7-8k one way. If that's not an option, Daewoo is the best available service by road which would cost approx. Rs.3500.

training is of 24 weeks.
I'm considering going by air but what about train? Isn't it a better option than Daewoo?

Yes, the newly started business train might as well be just better than Daewoo and I've heard it saves few hours too. It will cost you Rs.5k one way. Again, there's no match to Air, you see.

Aslamalikum.. Sister congrats for the appointment.. I haven't ever been to Karachi but I guess I'll prefer Train or an air bus .. Any ways tell me did u contact any concerned person in ASF because today a friend of mine told me that we have to report at the airport where we got temporary posting.. Could u pls guide me if u got any further info!!

I called the ASF Academy today, they made me talk to the commandant. According to her, we do not have to report at the airport, we just have to report at the academy straightaway on 15th March. Only after the successful completion of training, we will report at our respective airports. Also the commandment told me to arrive either on the night of 14th March, or during day time on 15th March.
