Personality assessment in MoD
I am one of the qualifiers of A.D MoD test.I have been told by friends and seniors that the next step in the process will be psychological and personality test. While these tests might be a piece of cake for most of the qualifiers, they seem to be a bigger challenge for me.
Some close friends and family members have constantly been tagging me a complex personality as I am;- 1.Very short-tempered.I get angry very quickly and often expel expletives during that period of anger no matter how close the person standing in front of me is to me. 2.Some call me a smug as I tend to be more confident than those in my surroundings-negatively. 3.I am very sentimental and sensitive to smaller issues.I have issues with my friends ad family almost all the times. 4.I am very poor at making new friends. 5.I cannot tolerate even the slightest diversion from principles causing me to lose a number of friends. Academically;- 1.My LL.B degree is in progress and I have two years remaining. The problem is;- I have been to ISSB where I performed exceptionally well in the written tests yet I was rejected-most probably due to my personality issues. But I wasn't interested in that job. This A.D MoD test is my first attempt in competitive examinations and this job means so much to me and my family.I want to know if these discrepancies are of such serious nature which could render me disqualified or I can get away with it?Will it be prudent to camouflage them or try to do so during the interview and psychological assessment? If yes,how can that be done? Finally, will the non-completion of my degree have any adverse effect on my interview or could prove disadvantageous as compared to those who have completed their education? Seniors and friends, please help me solve this puzzle.I will remain thankful for life. |

Quote:
The issues that u have just described are really worth to be concerned about. I'll suggest u to be as much rational about the world as you can. If no problem, try to spent time in the company of broad-minded people-they may be clerics, bureaucrats, or any other person of good repute. Observe them closely, and especially their mode of dealing with people and various situations.

Brother,I just want to know if its common-place or I am going to be penalized in the interview because of my nature.Otherwise,I am quite sure that I am not a psycho.
