It has been an interesting last few of the posts on this thread.

@Saiqa I would advise you and others to avoid using the name of the sensitive institutions in an open forum. I believe that you and other aspirants are job seekers...you all have/had applied for the relevant positions according to your qualification etc. Now please let us wait for your interview call...you may ask anything you wish from the prestigious panel who will conduct your interview.

Whether it is elite intel organization or some department under MoD..it does not matter until you appear for the interview. Once you and other dear members would come to know about the organization and/or their prospect duties all of the candidates would have a 100% chance of joining or leaving the organization.

So we should let this topic be until interviews going to held.

About the nature of job one can never be sure. It could be a good idea to get a know how during interview. Ask them so you know what you are signing up for. Someone said they finalize those roles even after the training.

Have you seen the movie 'The Recruit'? It's based on the way CIA recruits. They keep dropping people during the training and then afterward they select only a few for some specific roles, the rest for clerical jobs etc.

If they adopt the same approach here it would be interesting and I think in a way it makes some sense as well. At least we won't have to compete for being in boss's good books to secure a foreign posting

Or to avoid one, say if the foreign posting is in Afghanistan

That's my personal opinion nothing from my relatives. They are never open about nature of their job, no matter who the person asking is. What I know is they get lush vehicles

About the infamous female debate, my tayya served in I.S.I. And he never, ever ever had any reservation about me joining it. Although my father retired from army and he thinks agency jobs are 'dirty jobs' and people with ethics ought to avoid them.

I think no one can make this decision for you. It's about what you want from your life. Do you want a well settled life or a challenging one. You can live with a 24/7 job role or you want 9 to 4 office job.

I work for a law enforcement agency. I am a software engineer so I work in the IT section.

If you know kindly tell me can we carry on our studies with this job of AD-MOD? Im currently doing MS marketing in evening classes. And will the office timing of 9 to 5 be followed in this job?

Brother kise waja se we have reached interview shukar alhamdulilla since we deserved it and secondly as far as forms are concerned people call the number given on forms they have said that with each form 3 set of documents are required . =) so all those people who think they are too smart buzz off
