Question Limited Seats for PMS-2017?
The number of seats in PMS-2017 are very limited. Confused whether to go for it or save PMS Chance given that only God knows when they would advertise next. Comments solicited, please.

Pms has been regularised which means it will be held every year. If you are 100% sure about your preparation then sit in exams otherwise dont lose your chance. There are only 14 seats on open merit this year. Next year seats are going to be more than this year as punjab govt will hire new additional assistant commissioners according to new punjab administrative act.

Dear! Here's solution to your confusion!
For all posts to be filled through written test followed by interview or interview alone, the number of chances shall be restricted to three. However, if a candidate qualifies the interview but cannot be recommended for appointment due to shortage of vacancies, his chance shall not be considered as availed whereas chance of a candidate who does not qualify the written test or interview shall be considered as availed. For the post of Lecturer in Education Department, a candidate who is applicant for more than one subject, shall be allowed three chances in each subject for which he/she is a candidate in accordance with laiddown policy. This would be applicable w.e.f. 06-11-2017.
