Any one to guide me how to prepare for written test of SS ....... as i have applies for History/Pak Studies.....
I have Masters in History.... wt should i prepare for... as the job is for history/pakistan studies

As now it has become clear that pattern is MCQs. 50 MCQs of 100 marks and one hour time. Now it is requested to share the experience of paper from those members who have taken the test of their subjects. Remaining subjects papers are due in near future

subject specialist bps-16 pattern is given below

50 question
each question having 2 marks
negative marking applicable on each wrong answer .50 marks per question

1- 5 question ancient history of india till to 712 a.d
2- 5 question history of india since 712 to 1526
3- 5 question india history till 1526-1707
4- 5 question history of india 1707-1857
5- 5 question history of punjab 326 bc to 1947 ad
6- 5 question on british rule in indo-pak 1857- 1947
7- 5 question history of pakistan 1947-2010
8- 5 question muslim history birth of holy prophet to period of hazrat ali(r.a)
9- 5 question history of ummaya and abbasiya
10- 5 question on ottoman empire and european history

so the pattern cover most of the histoy of world
no only one book cover this paper
plz prepartion by using those books whose are under your study during master papers
at the same time
a book
world history by b.v.rao will play important role in your prepartion

Thanks brother for your valuable information regarding History. Can any one guide about the pattern of English Paper that either this will be from English Literature or about Language ability and grammatical questions.
