Dear Fellow members,

I have read previous posts, you guys have done remarkable job in translating the passages.

As FPSC has announced new pattern for English Precis Paper which also includes Urdu-to-English translation, so I am uploading a passage from English Paper of PCS-2014. I will request everyone to please translate it. It will be very helpful. Thanks!

"Islami tareekh mein hazrat khatija(RA) ki tarah ki khawateen kam hi nazar ati hein jinhon ny khawateen keh lya amal ki raheein asan tar aur roshan tar banain hein. in ki yeh azmat tu qabil-e-rashk hy keh wo pehlay aimaan lanay wali insaan hein magar in ki yeh azmat hamari nazroon sy posheeda rehti hy keh unhoon ny khud apnay lya is zaat-e-ba-barkaat ko talash kya jisay dur-e-yateem kehtay hein. unhoon ny arab ki maldaar tareen khatoon hotay hovay ameer tareen roh-sa-he-arab keh rishtay thukrae aur mehr-o-wafa aur qurbani ki la-zawal dastaan raqam ki hy. unhon ny khandan-e-nabowat ki abyari kartay hovay apna tan bi jalaya aur apna dhann bi qurban kiya. aj yom-e-khawateen per haqooq-e-niswan aur aurat ki azadi aur masawat ka bara charchaa hy magar ham in khawateen ka wo maha-sharti kirdar dunya keh samnay nahe la pa rahay aur na hi iss per amal-daramand keh lya koi tareeqa-kar waza kar rahay hein."

Thanks

I have tried to write one.

My request to everyone that please make corrections in it along with explanations of the mistakes. I will be grateful. Thanks!

In Islamic history, women, like Hazrat Khatija(RA), have rarely been seen, who have made paths for the women easier and brighter. Her greatness as being the first believer of the faith is enviable, but it has been unknown to us that she herself had chosen his blessed essence whom everyone calls rare pearl. Despite being the richest lady in the Arab, she rejected proposals of the richest lords of Arab and established an everlasting story of sacrifice and faithfulness. While nurturing the house of prophecy, she made herself selfless and humble. Today, on women's day, women's rights, and their freedom and equality are talk of the town, we have been being unable to project social role of these women to the world nor able to devise any plan to follow their role.

translation:
the analysis of human nature will make known that there are two forces, the force of enlightenment and feelings,in a human, upon which depend his thought and practice.extraordinary is the power of feelings in a poet; imbued with these feelings he creates the piece of poetry.however, many poets do not have the power of enlightenment.therefore, their poetry is temporal and sensational in nature; it does not affect for long. the poetry of very few poets contains the cumulative effect of both the powers, the power of enlightenment and the feelings and only those poets are great and universal. their message is unrestrained of the limits of time and universe.

it's my very 1st attempt. please, point out the mistakes and suggest corrections.

My attempt
The analysis of human nature will reveal that there are two powers in man upon which rely his thought and action: the power of enlightenment and the power of feeling. A poet possesses extraordinary power of feeling, and under its effect he gives life to verse. But many poets lack the power of enlightenment. Hence their poetry is short-lived, temporary and of emotional type. It's effect is not long-lasting. Very few poet's poetry is influenced by both powers: the power of feeling and the power of enlightenment. Only those poets are great and eternal and their message is unfettered by the limits of time and place.
