Now, after the latest administrative reorganization, DDO(R) is replaced by Assistant Commissioner (Revenue).

Dear you are mistaken on two counts. First posting of a PMS officer as Assistant Commissioner doent constitute his /her promotion. This is a posting for which he/she is entitled at the out set.

Secondly , many of PMS officers of second PMS batch in Punjab have been appointed as Assistant Commissioners and few of them whom i know personally are from humble background with no political links. They include ,Madiha Tahir Shah Assistant Commissioner, Kot Radah Kishan ,Amir Nazir, Assistant Commissioner, Kalorkot, Afsar Ali Assistant Commissioner (Gen) Lahore,Ali Akbar Assistant Commissioner Rojhan , to name but a few.

Besides though all of newly inducted PMS officers were posted initially as SO but many of them after few months got field postings as DMOs, DDO(HRM), AD ACE and Special Judicial Magistrate.

Could a naib tehsildar or tehsildar be promoted to AC, DC, or SO or any other

heigher management job.

Naib Tehsildar posts were filled in year 2009.Tehsildar Posts are in Pipeline and may be advertised in coming weeks.

A naib Tehsildar is promoted as Tehsildar in Grade 16. As per PMS rules 2004 , 20 percent of PMS vacancies are filled from Tehsildars on seniority -cum-fitness basis. So a Tehsiladar after having been promoted as a PMS officer in Grade 17 can be posted as AC.

Recently with the blessing of God I am selected as an assistant treasury Sub Treasury Officer 17 finance department kpk now after detailed research what i found that sub treasury usually belongs to tehsil and in absence of sub treasury officer the tehsildar will be the incharge of sub treasury even after further research what i found that tehsildar will check monthly closing accounts of sub treasury and furthermore tehsildars and their naib are called Revenue officers and they belong to revenue dept whereas ato sto belongs to finance department, please can anyone explain and clearify my these findings.! What will be urdu names of revenue officers and sub treasury officer?

brother the nomenclature of tehsildar varies from province to province for example it is known as taulkadar or mukhtiarkar in sindh tehsildar in punjab and balochistan where as treasury officers in all four provinces work under the finance deptt. as far as their transfer postings is concerned but are administratively under the DC of their district and he can send a report against them to finance deptt. in case of any shortcomings in their performance
