Default Period spent as PMS/PCS Officer
Asslam o Alikum
i want to know that
if a PMS/PCS officer ,after some years of service , joins CSS then his service spent as PMS officer would count towards his seniority in the new job?

Exclamation Clarification
No it will not count.Period spent as PMS Officer will only count towards pay not seniority.If a person is PMS Officer and join CSS after a few years, he will only carry his pay with him. Suppose he is drawing 18000 rupees as PMS Officer ( when he joins CSS ).He will carry his pay with him . When he will join CSS he will draw same salary which he was drawing as PMS Officer but as far as his seniority is concerned , he will be taken as per senority made by FPSC.
If there is still confusion , do ask me again.

Sir i have read your comments about the above question but there is another question that, as in the other govt. jobs previous job period is also counted.on behalf of this reference it is not in same in the CSS

Amir Kazmi I can also add reply to your query thats y adding it.

Actually when you talk about CSS no other job experience is counted towards your seniority. But if you are going for some other government job I mean that is not through national level competitive exam your experience will be counted.

It is not restricted to national level competitive examinations.If someone is posted as Assisstant Director IB ( a federal Organization ) and joins PMS.His previous job experience as AD IB will not affect his seniority in PMS. If he is on merit number 21 ( suppose ) as made by PPSC, he will remain so and his previous service as AD IB will only count towards pay not senority.

General rule is this that your job experience ( any job provincial \ federal ) counts only towards pay not seiority in next job ( any provicial \federal ).

what does it mean 'he will carry pay with him'.?is extra pay will be given to css officer who goes from pms???

No, brother it does not means to carry full pay in next job. It means only some head like adhoc allws will be payed in future job.
