@ Kamran n others,
Result would not be so early at all. Last viva may end up upto 28 Feb as there are less candidates dealt daily ( toatl 14/day). Moreover if some candidates have appeals lying pending against rejection or issues like DPC during the last days of interveiw then result may be delayed by 7 days. So 1st March- 5 March is the expected period of final result. @ Bilal, Kamran n All What would be the safe range for allocation?? In my opinion 680 written + 120 interview = 800 total might be a safe range (among top 76 merits i.e. PMS Open Merit) . However safe zone might start from 810 or even more keeping in view the no. of candidates (527) and high scoring subjects like Geo,Punj,Pub Ad etc. Or it may be lower like 790 or even less than 790 as it always has been the case in previous CCE exams of PPSC (always low scoring trends has been seen in CCE's/PMS's of Punjab). Kindly share your ideas. |

@ Kamran
Thanks.but others should also share their analysis I think. I agree with u on many points. But 770 is quite low score. I think 785-790 total would be the lower limit for CCE Allocations, after all there is dog-eat-dog competition this year.

yes bro there are 76 or 77 seats of pms i would also like to chip in and say that not many candidates are going to score more than 140+ and most of them would remain in the 100/110 range and those who will get more than 140 in viva are definitely going to get pms group i say that not many will get 110 because during my psychological and interview phase i observed that majority of the candidates were not confident in speaking english and good command over english is must for getting good marks in viva rest only the ALLMIGHTY knows

brother they rotated the members of both the panels on weekly basis for example mr Ashraf Qureshi and mr Shahxad qaiser were in panel b in the initial days but were in panel a after some days similarly Ch Ilayas and Ch Rauf were in panel A and were then transferred to b likewise they also utilised the services of remaining members in both the panels also the departmental representatives were changed so situation is quite unpredictable lets keep our fingers crossed by the way contrary to your perception i found madam to be more friendly towards the candidates

of course panel tries to maintain equitable marking trend as their are 2 panels by rotating members, nevertheless,it is not possible to do so(means one panel would do the lenient marking and the other one would be tight-fisted due to different chairpersons and both panels cannot follow the same trend: This is an element of luck that can't be erased). Moreover Interview marks would definitely play a major role in the final allocation of candidates as there is cut-throat competition this time. Let's keep waiting.
