May be your news have some grounds but it never happened in the history of country that once advertised vacancies are increased after final selection. Many seats of bureaucracy are vacant in CSS groups as well e.g. OMG, Customs, Railway but they never increase seats. Even judges are not available as required in courts since the creation of country. There is lot of delay in justice due to this but they are not appointed. Vacancies are advertised after complete analysis of the situation. They have to make some seats vacant for coming exams as well to facilitate the aspirants of Competitive Exams. All the seats are not filled at once. There is not a single department in Pakistan where full capacity employees are available.

Yahan tu bhai hospitals main doctors bhe nahin. Agar ye full time appointments ker dain tu mulk mai unemployment he khatam ho jae gi. Par inko kon samjhae. Jo jahan betha usay apni pari hay. Sochna bhe gawara nh kerty.

well i really pray for you guys that may ALLAH do something good for you.
I have been watching this discussion and i can also feel the pinch that brother Saboor a.k.a Shikva is having and other fellows but this is not good to give false hopes to others, i have come to know through a very plausible source that yes Punjab Govt is considering to recruit more PMS officers to make the administration of Punjab in general and Southern Punjab in particular better so that they have not to divide the Punjab and get the job done without creating any demarcation, and this will open more vacancies in the coming PMS.....

BUT what you are saying is not possible simply, only those seats are filled that are left vacant if someone refuses to join, there is no likelihood of adding more vacancies once exam is complete, even the left over vacancies are carried over once training is started and are carried over to next exam.

My prayers are with you but creating such a fuss would do no good but give a false hope to Merit numbers that lie between 107 and 125.....

AND last thing, there would be 2 to 3 people on the same marks as is the case with me and stretching the seats to a certain merit number is simply ridiculous, for example if there are 5 people having 815 marks all of them then 5 seats are consumed here so my friend they cannot increase the seats with such a criteria.....

P.S: Apologies if anyone took amiss, i just wanted to tell you the reality.

Yes Bilal agree, therefore next PMS Exam is expected soon. Delay in training of current batch is only due to non-issuance of funds to MPDD for training. Interim government was unable to pay heavy cost in this regards. Now govt is established so funds will be released soon & training will be started.

You people hav'nt contacted S&GAD again? If you contacted then what they say about list revision etc? There is a silent in this thread.

Hope that list will be revised as training date is extended & CSS-2012 training is also going to start in September.

Sure, be in touch with them. If possible then go & met them in person to realize them that you are not sleeping. Its better to avail this precious chance. List revision is a routine matter but they will revise if they felt some external pressure. Nh tu thand mahol he hay govt offices main.

No. Its a routine matter of revision of lists from 1st merit list if some officers reject joining. Its better to bring that matter in the notice of higher ups. Clerical + direct involving staff has many problems. First, they hesitate to give actual reason. Don't know why they speak lies. Second, they are masters of delay & red-tapism. Therefore it is better to meet/contact higher ups for your due right.

The seat of Secretary/additional Secretary S&GAD is still vacant. the joining of PMS officers and revision of list is up-to him as he is the final authority to sign the files.
Its CM's discretionary right to appoint a secretary , let's see when CM give the charge of S&GAD to any bureaucrat.

Hmm. Anybody know when this allocation list be finalized? Atleast 9 persons have qualified in CSS & 5-6 other are not joining. So there are chances upto Merit # 121 if they revised the list.

I FOUND 11 PEOPLE have passed css and heard that 3 already have not joined..but about whom you are saying 5-6 are not joining?
