It wasnt the fee amount at all. Its commonly known as Kharcha Pani. You could even negotiate on it
Verification forms of all DDAOs have been sent to the respective Police Department since last week.

verification k lye policeman candidate se milte hain ya koi aur bhi mil sakta hai like father ???
i am asking this because I live in Multan and am in lahore these days for CSS prep. Now do i need to get back to multan until the verification gets completed.
please guide.

In principal, such verification is done independently from independent sources like relatives or acquaintances of the candidates even without the knowledge of the person verified. But generally, policemen prefer to meet the candidates or their close relatives, father, brother etc because they seize it as an opportunity to extort some money for "kharcha paniii" or "petrol"......

No need of going back. They will get particulars clarified from any member of your family. When my CSS verification was done, I was not at my home. They came with the same proforma, asked those questions & took Rs. 1000 (Kharcha Pani) from Abbu & went back.

I am not a DDAO. My selection is in Audit Department through PMS Exam.

Hey everyone
Dont bother about kharcha pani. This is the last time you are paying it. For the rest of your life in Accounts Offices you will be offered kharcha pani. It will upto you whether you take it or not
