i dont have exact info about that but i have heard that many writs have been filed at lhc principal seat Lahore and at its circuit bench at Multan secondly you only have to file petition before the closing date i.e 2nd June it is not necessary for the court to pass order immediately last time in 2011 the court gave its verdict just a week or so before the commencement of the exam the commission had uploaded our roll numbers and mentioned our exam centres when the judgment came to re advertise pms one more thing that i would llike to add is that aspirants of relaxation should hire a competent and influential lawyer who can get the case fixed before a bold and independent minded judge because unfortunately there are many judges of lhc who take cues from the govt before deciding the petitions as they cannot afford to strain there relations with their benefactors who made them judge an influential lawyer with links in the lhc bar association can easily get age relaxed no matter what arguments the govt's counsel puts forth so choice of lawyer is of utmost importance

I had met a person some days before for filing the case in LHC for age relaxation . He said that there are some other candidates which are also going to file the writ so you have just to pay share for the writ and to provide copy of id card for which I agreed.
He said that case is going to be heard on 2nd June for acceptance in LHC. Today I called him and asked about the outcome of the case but he asked if I had applied or not .... I said I haven't applied then he said that you have committed a blunder for not applying online because relaxation will be given to those who have applied for PMS and are party in the writ. So he advised me to wait for three months for the decision of the case but he didn't provide me case number. Now I am not sure if the case has actually been filed or not . If anyone else has filed writ or not. If relaxation will be granted to everyone or to the parties in the case only. Seniors please guide me if I should prepare for PMS or not.

there are two possible outcomes which you can expect in this situation one is that the court will allow the the litigants to sit in the exam in this scenario in order to get benefit other people who are not party to the case will have to file another writ in the high court that in this case this very court has provided relief to these persons it is prayed to your lordship that you pass an order extending the scope of this judgement to all and sundry as our grievance is similar in nature to those people who have been provided relief in the second scenario the court can give a general verdict which encompasses all and sundry either way if a favourable judgment is given it will benefit all sooner rather than later
@Mazhar Ali Khokhar you and all other over age aspirants are advised to start preparing for the exam without paying any heed to the rumours the judgement will come in due course and then you will not be in a state of panic that how you will cover the course because once the case is settled either way ppsc will try to conduct the exam in shortest possible time as is their usual practice in these circumstances Last edited by Amna; Tuesday, June 03, 2014 at 05:22 AM.
