soothing to see a person like you talking on sorry state of affairs, but even how long you will resist to this system ? one day you have to become a part of this system as they say " in rome do as the romans do " , it was a surprise for everyone to see only 23 seats advertised for under PMS , after that how age relaxation case was handled , now any hope of stay on exams ? or it will be on 17 November ?

exam will begin from the 17th you should not get distracted by any fresh petition if the court grants stay then it would be good for over age candidates as far as advertising less no of seats is concerned it is due to the ongoing litigation between the ex pcs and ex pss cadres if the court decides in favour of ex pcs then no of seats could be increased upto 90+ if the case is finally decided in the favour of ex pss then they would remain 24 it all depends on the outcome of this case if by the time the pms written result is announced the case gets decided then the competent authority can increase the no of seats

this case is being heard at 2/3 forums one is at punjab service tribunal second is before chief secretary punjab i think one of the parties has filed a petition before lhc but i am not sure about it pms was created in 2004 by merging ex pcs and pss pcs means provincial civil service and pss means provincial secretariat service pcs officals were appointed magistrates and pss as section officers after qualifying the combined competitive exam under the previous system i.e before the devolution of 2001 the present row relates to the inter se seniority of both groups which are now defunct it is fuelled by DMG/PAS mafia which wants to usurp seats meant for pcs/pms officers by instigating their rivalries it is due to this case that a bottleneck is created and grade 17 officers are waiting for their promotions since long but cs says that he will not promote officers until this dispute is resolved the punjab service tribunal and s&gad are working on their behest so this is why their seems to be no end to litigation between the parties

Dear the matter is already decided in the favor of PSS. so no chances of major increase in the seats secondly appeal against the judgment of Punjab Service Tribunal cannot be filed in the High court, its beyond its jurisdiction. If any of the party wishes to file the appeal they will be going to the supreme court of Pakistan.

Basically , there are three categories among over-age candidates .
One category is of those candidates who filed petitions and got interim order in their favor .
Second group is comprised of those aspirants who , however , applied and sent their forms in the hope of getting general age relaxation are now in a hot water.
Third category belongs to those aspirants who have not applied at all .

Now , the issue is that if petitioners are granted permission , then why not the other candidates . So , if someone wants to be a part of this Exam , just hire an expert lawyer and file a petition as early as possible . As exam is not held yet , still chances are there , need is to avail them with the presence of mind .

Some days ago you said the following statement , so it was not news, it was just your wish that a fresh petition should be filed?
Every one is saying this thing but as one senior member is saying & i also think that due to less number of seats under PMS candidates are not interested to fight a legal battle for that, so 95% chance are that exams will start from 17 November

we ourselves take everything as a joke and create hurdles in the way of each and every task just for personal motives that is why no institute and organization is working properly in the country.

Now there are zero chance for delaying the exam because it is being held on 17 Nov, 2014. No candidate interested in filing petition for age relaxation because of less number of seats. There is a great chance the seats will be increased because about 50 PMS officers of Grade 17 hv been promoted to 18 last month by provincial promotion committee. PPSC successfully deceit the candidate by announcing less number of seats.
