1. She will not have catch the train
2. I marked it 3/4 (not sure) as the balls were 6 and 8 so ratio sparked in my mind, clicked 3/4.

Let number of balls = (6 + 8) = 14.

Number of white balls = 8.

P (drawing a white ball) = 8 /14 = 4/7.
