i think one must not loose the infinite hope.........capable and deserving candidates will make out there way even in this strict selection procedure.......but yes definitely fpsc should chalk out a strategy to make more candidates to make css called COMPETITIVE EXAM

if what you are saying is true then its really very disappointing for a lot of aspirants including me who are appearing for the very first and last time , as then the screening test would gain alot of importance and time is very short and the competition would be fierce even at this most initial stage.
i really thought that the screening test is implemented just to filter the non serious candidates out and more than 70 % would get through it . |

Totally agree with makg and aniya...seriously if that's the case how come are they constricting the candidates...screening test can never be the ultimate judge for capabilities of a broader ground like CSS examination...

Well, that sounds ridiculous. Remember its a screening test and not a merit test. I think the criteria above is highly unlikely to be implemented. Just look at this:
''E.g if there are 35 posts in balochistan then FPSC will call aspirants for the main exam as : 35 * Specific number of candidates(either ten against one post or 20 against one post as it is done in general recruitments by fpsc) according to the merit of screening test (Balochistan domiciled)'' What if all 200 people screened for 20 seats fail the css exam? Will they fill the seats from another province? Instead of citing confidential sources and cooking criterias on your own I think we all should wait for a statement from fpsc on this issue.

I think the screening test will be percentile based, not percentage.

i think it is not workable formula, because FPSC did not shortlist candidate for written exam according to quota, even they don,t consider this during CE written exams, after written exam they call all passed candidates for interview irrespective of their province and quota.and i hope also here they just shortlist aspirants according to their merit not upon quota.

I hope they come up with some mature decision regarding this!
