THE CRY OF CANDIDATES FOR SPSC
Mr. Irshad Ali Shah, the incumbent chairman SPSC has got political affiliations and is not a person with spotless trackrecord. Malpractices in the past and ongoing recruitment through Spsc bears ample testimony to the above mentioned fact . We the Action committee of meritorious students of Sindh are in no way ready to tolerate the treatment at all. Below are mentioned the loopholes that exist in the hiring process of spsc and are time and again exploited by the Chairman and his team . His so far indifferent attitude towards these essential areas confirms his connivance in the matter.

Firstly , recently Spsc has started conducting exams on OMR(machine readable) sheet.But all in vain , though after using OMR technique which assesses two thousand copies in an hour it should not take more than a single day to declare the results , the process of Spsc suspiciously consumes many months.NTS( National Testing Service) , a highly credible testing institute uses the same technology and declares the result of tens of thousands of students in a single day and everybody wholeheartedly accepts the results. Also , Nts provides carbon copies to students for their self assessment and self satisfaction as well. Our question is why the same is not practiced in Spsc. Why ? , Why? and Why?

Secondly , the score of written test is never known to the candidates. This provides Spsc staff a room for foulplay .For example , if a candidate secures 70 mark in written and another secures 50 marks and both of them know their position. Then there would be no possibility that one with 50 marks is given any undue favour in the interview. The one with 70 marks will shout immediately .Knowing this the Spsc conceals the marks of the written part.

Thirdly , nobody knows what weightages are being given to each phases of recruitment .It is suggested as well as demanded that up to 70 per cent weightage must be given to the written part as OMR machine knows no relations , no friends. However , people is interview panel and staff can be overwhelmed by emotions as to err is a human nature. In this regard, detailed sheets must be published showing marks of each candidate in in each area as written ,interview, academics and experience as required by each specific job.The rest 20 and 10 per cent weightage can be given to interview and experience respectively.

Fourthly , the Spsc should publish waiting list as well as the entire merit list of all candidates .so that everybody should come to know about his merit number.
Irespective whether he has passed or not.

It is informed that NAB - the apex anticorruption agency is also interested in taking preventive measures to eradicate loopholes that cause corruption and has a fullfledge PREVENTION wing for this matter. The matter is forwarded to them as well .It is a warning to Spsc highups to immediately mend their ways .We have also approached and informed Ombudsman , FIA, Judges, Registrar Supreme Court and High Courts, Anti-corruption , Transparency International , PILDAT ,Anchors,Presidency , Press, Civil Society and CM Secretariat and other vigilance teams. All necessary evidences are available with us and shall be provided to aid the investigation.

All hardworking and deserving candidates from Sindh are requested to stand up for their rights and mobilize all their resources such as by holding demonstrations, writing letters in the newspapers time and again, stirring the Tv channels,etc. So that our demands get accepted any way. It is demanded that Anticorruption agencies must raid the Spsc Office and take the entire record into their custody. The chairman should be put on trial and should be thrown behind bars for his criminal acts and negligence.

I have done B.E(16 years) in software engineering:can i apply for the computer science lecturer post?
I have searched alot about the HEC equivalency of software engr to computer science or IT but could not find any thing regarding this equivalency....

HEC letters refers that IT(16 years),computer science(16 years),computer system engineering(16 years) all are equivalent and can compete for posts of bps-17 but no reference of software engineering degree whether it is BS or BE.

plz guide me b/c last date is 20 nov.
