Last date of submitting form is 30th June 2012 & between 1st to 15th June, they were issuing forms. Anyhow if you influence with anyone in DC office you can get form by tomorrow as well, as my friend bought two forms day before yesterday 25th June..

& I heard that this specifical quota is for Karachi Only.

Appointments are being done?? Are you sure brother? when did the tests take place and where the training occured?

I dont think this is official news!

I have heard that they will take written test in ramzan and physical test after ramzan. and they will send sucessful people for training to Police Academy in Saeedabad.

I gained some more knowledge about the said posts so Im sharing for other forum members.

The Anti Encroachment Force is a new force who will be responsible to deal with land grabing mafia. It comes under the revenue department but as such the force itself wil be headed by senior police officers like DSP, SSp etc.

The job will be of Law Enforcement and police training will be given to selected candidates. They will also go through 4 months of training (possibly commando training) with Rangers.

The AEF will have seperate police stations and other assets and will be conducting its own operations. The job will carry a high risk factor as dealing with land mafia will obviously involve shoot outs and armed conflict with the culprits. (living in Karachi, I know that most land mafias have high connections with political parties so, it will be difficult to deal with them in respect to law enforcement)

The written test will be conducted in the last week of ramzan and a physical test will be held after Eid. training will start in September.

All this information has been given to me by a person working in the department. So I am not 100% sure of this info, you are all welcome to contradict it if you have more solid information.

The training of Constables is under way and almost complete.
