@Khushik saab & all Congrats a trillion for your success.Count another Section officer in the existing lot but will not join Sindh Govt. because already appointed in Federal Govt. as an Assistant Professor. Good salary and piece of mind which r missing in jobs in Sindh Govt but I'm happy over my success in CCE 2008. Congrats to all qualifiers and have fantastic future ahead

Default Inquiry

@ Nasar Abbasi,

Can you please tell the difference between DDO(R) from CSS and PCS? I have come to know that the promotion of DDO(R) from CSS is very fast as compared to DDO (R) from PCS. PCS DDO(R) becomes DCO very hardly and end up in 19 grade while CSS pass DDO(R) rose to grade 21 or 22. If both DDOs (R) do the same job then why from Fedral?

Where will DDO(R) training take place in Pakistan or abroad? When offer letters are expected?

Since you have very good knowledge and understanding of government system, therefore, I asked you but if anyone else has the answer then please share.

Thanks

@greenhorn.....

its very logical that Mr. Ali zaidi cannot hold two offices at the same time. He will join Sindh Govt as soon as he receives offer letter from the govt. till than he is enjoying his moments at CSA.

@Ali Zaidi....

Dear you me enlighten us on the matter..

@Shamoon.....

One major difference is that DDO (R) of CSS has to move and get posted all over Pakistan, while PCS DDOs have to be posted in their particular provinces only.

Promotions of CSPs are fast because the federal establishment division have evolved such a system and naturally since the CSPs move all over the country so where ever there is vacant post they get promotion and get posting there whether it is a volatile region of Balochistan or KP. In the case of PCS officers promotions may be slow because of shortage of vacant post. However it is not true that PCS DDOs end up at the level of DCO or in grade 20. it entirely depends on the caliber and qualities of the individuals. CSPs are not the angels sent from heavens and PCS officers are also not the untouchables. there should not be superiority and inferiority complex. In several cases PCS officers have been more competent than CSPs.

we may receive offer letters in the last week of feb.

As far as training is concerned some friends say that it would be in Peshawar while a few including me are hopeful that it might take place at Tandojam. However, I am not sure about training abroad, especially in the current era of financial crunch.

Hi everyone!! sorry for a late reply. life here at CSA is cool and fun. However, its very difficult for you to be patient when u know that another better opportunity is waiting for u..
My Stay at CSA is going really well and those of you who want to peep into the unforgettable moments of CSA may join me on facebook and have a look at the pictures of CSA. The e-mail is ************@gmail.com
As far as decision about joining as DDO is concerned, i must tell u first that MLCG was my 5th choice in CSS above PAAS and others. In fact a friend of PAAS here at CSA approached me to swap my MLCG with him before i leave. However if someone asks me to swap it for some other group of CSS then i'll be consider it to my disadvantage if i exchange my group with anyone of it save PSP, DMG and FSP.
However, i must tell u that i am planning to switch to DDO R and also feel excited about it. As already mentioned by brother Nasar Abbasi that DDO R is a DMG job because its not a PMS of any other province. its Sindh's job and in Sindh Ex PCS (as these DDO Rs will be called) are not at greater disadvantage when compared to DMG.
Someone also mentioned here about the training abroad. Well, buddy i dont think so its possible. The idea is no doubt very attractive and we pray that such thing happens but unfortunately, very very few groups are given foreign exposure as a part of basic training.

Regards
Dr. Ali Xaidi

MQM, PPP agree to revive magistracy system

Updated at: 0612 PST, Monday, February 07, 2011
KARACHI: The Pakistan People's Party and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Sunday agreed to revive the magistracy system to check inflation and hoarding.

The decision was taken in a meeting held at the Chief Minister House here. Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, Finance Minister Murad Shah and Law Minister Ayaz Soomro represented the PPP while Syed Sardar Ahmed and Farooq Sattar were present on behalf of the Muttahida. However, no official statement was issued by the CM House.

Talking to media persons, Sardar Ahmed said the magistracy system will be revived and a draft bill will be prepared on Monday in this regard. The Sindh Cabinet had formed a sub-committee to revive the magistracy system, following the decision of the federal government in this regard in a meeting attended by the four chief secretaries. A source privy to the situation said the magistracy system would likely be revived under the CrPC.
