N no, I wasn't asked anything specific thing regarding our course, just general ones like, y acca, were you doing anythign along and what r your future plans.

i m also waiting for intrview call letter.. i selected Lahore as my centre..

Guys I had my interview yesterday, and by a delay of 5 hours approx at around 6.p.m. so get ready it's going to cost you whole day of your's. Alhamdulillah my interview went good. The questions which I was asked were very general regarding my career,achievements,ambitions as I have an engineering background. They asked questions regarding SBP- its functions- and why do I want to join it. How monetary policy is carried out? what are the tools utilised in it? and why do I want to join SBP? and what was the reason behind switching from engineering to a whole different field? anyone with a background other than business and finance should prepare a strong enough argument to present before a panel of six highly qualified professionals, a couple of them might be psychologists as they both asked single question each and were assessing the way I talked and my facial expressions. I tell you, don't lose your confidence and keep your face cool as cocumber with an endearing smile over it. If you have received your degree 1 or 2 years before and still are not employed anywhere then you should also prepare a reason for it too, any unsatisfactory answer in their eyes might cost you dear. Yes, you should also have a wide view of current economic outlook of the country. You should also know difference between SBP and SBP BSC and their functions.

People with Business background should be ready for questions related to auditing/accounting/finance/business. Interviewees from IBA and CBM were asked questions solely related to their fields. Besides all these you should also be ready for psychological questions and all the whys and wherefores like

what are your 5 weaknesses and 5 strengths? If you tell them you are creative you should also have an example to quote because they might ask how?

where do you see yourself in future?
your long term ambitions? etcetra

and friends this is not an authenticated news - so dont grab me from neck afterwards, if it happens to be a wrong one - I overheard the guy who was sending us into the interview room, saying that this time the seats are doubled. He said this to a fellow of him. A good news with increased opportunity for all if it is actualised.
