well they didn't ask me about strengths/weaknesses. Other candidates who shared their experience with us as they were going. Sbp personnel on the site didnt allow interviewed candidates to stay there long or share experience with others. There is a lady - inducted in ypip 1st batch - who checked original documents and other stuff, is really very cooperative. If you are from karachi, go to her and feel free to ask anything that is troubling you. Its a good sign for 2nd batch. They will have obliging seniors.
in principle, questions will be these. So prepare yourself!

sbp deals with policy issues. It formulates independent monetary policy, issues currency, ensures soundness of financial system by promulgating different laws i.e anti money laundering law, keeps an oversight on banks, manages foreign reserves/debt and exchange rate. It also deals with international financial institutions like IMF. On the other hand SBP BSC deals with operational functions. It's a subsidiary organization of SBP and is obliged to do any task as asked by SBP besides its functions as defined in SBP-BSC ordinance 2001. The ordinance has delegated the functions like prize bond dealing, export finance facilitations, management of government accounts, providing banking services to government of pakistan and revenue collection and distribution from commercial banks.
