he is right CGPA will help you in interview and next process of scrutiny...here only NTS test marks will lead you to the interview.

its from HR that they will see academic record of candidates.the candidate whose marks is 60 with 3.7 CGPA will give prefer with other who get 78 marks of GPA 2.5 only passing marks. so you think that 2.5 gpa will give preference ?

of course preference will be given to high scorer in academic records too
dear its not just test and interview selection is actually based on some weightage which includes your ACADEMIC RECORD + TEST + GD + INTERVIEW
ITS NOT JUST RECRUITMENT PROCESS TO HIRE YOU!!!!
WHOLE ACADEMIC RECORD ALSO MATTERS

But what about the region based selection?? If someone in some region has less GPA or less NTS marks but in his/her specific region or area is at the top meaning no other candidate of his/her area is upto his/her mark then??
Does anyone has any idea that when the interviews will start??
Plz inform all members if anyone got interview call/letter..

sumaira, the criteria would be that first the will be screening top scorer, irrespective of any region. after that they will see if any region has less pool of candidate then they will call more candidate from that region will less nts marks. region wise segregation would be afterwards. and yes certainly the place where high scorers are more the competition would be tough

Yar 2.5 cgpa wala to iis test ke liye eligible hi nahin tha. Minimum cgpa 3 require tha. And cgpa ka taluq eligibility ya entrance se hota hai. Further screening ke liye written test, group discussion and interview hota hai.
