Not officially, but they do give priority to those who have prior experience specially banking experience.

It is an entry level job, why would they prefer experienced candidates over fresh ones ? Furthermore, candidates with backgrounds other than business administration, like engineering and chemistry who can in no way gain banking experience, are also eligible for Ypip. Isn't it discriminatory then ?

This is what I have seen. I am part of Sbp and in our batch there were more than 90 % having prior experience. Even I had prior banking experience. They prefer experienced candidates as they normally perform quite well in the interview because of more confidence and knowledge. But those who are fresh they should never loss heart because they are also hired. The final selection depends on the test score and more importantly interview. Normally the interviews are quite comprehensive and majority of the candidates make blunders despite having good scores in test...

Since you're from within SBP and seem particularly well versed with the general scheme of things, how many seats, as per your information, will be there for YPIP? Expected cut-off?

Also, what is the expected number of positions and likely cut-off for SBOTS? Is there potential for vertical growth? How do you compare it to YPIP?

Have you been recruited through either programmes?

Default Any chance

I am expecting 85+ in SBP OG-1 Exam conducted on 11th dec, 2016. As the paper was very easy. Can I expect that I would also be interviewed. I am asking in this thread as I observed that here are more seniors and more people who have knowledge regarding the SBP process.
Thanks
