Salam all. I have cleared the written exam. I have engineering background. I realize questions will be asked about SBP, BSC, their functions etc. However, I am wondering whether I will be asked banking, economics, finance, accounting etc questions or the questions about engineering.

Yes they will ask questions about banking and economics, because you are not going to do any "engineering" in this job.... you are require to demonstrate your banking and economics abilities.... I have read previous thread for this job and many engineers wrote that they were asked basic terms of banking and finance and economics along with ONE very important question, WHY YOU WANT OT JOIN BANKING WITH ENGINEERING BACKGROUND? Cut short, you have to be prepare for everything.....

Thanks. I may be wrong but I am not sure if they will allocate engineering department to YPIP candidates as they recently hired AD OG-2 Engineers.

You may disagree with me but it is also a fact that SBP hire engineers separately for engineering jobs....... This job is kind of operations based. I have read previous threads and many have mentioned that they were asked general questions relating to economics, economy, banking etc....

I think interview is going to take time. First, they will complete OG-1 interviews. Then they will start OG-2 interviews from Karachi, then Islamabad and then Lahore. It might as well take 2 more months for interviews to start for Punjab candidates. Candidates in Sindh should be prepared because interviews always start from Karachi. I went through SBOT-2016 process and it was a long wait. Result came 4-5 months after the result declaration, interviews started right after the written result for Karachi candidates but still took 2 months to start for Punjab and a little less for Islamabad. Dont remember exactly if there were interviews at Peshawar and Quetta as well.

I got 74 marks in SBP BSC Ypip 6th batch test held on 1st Jan 2017. Any way to get them to recheck my test result.
