I thought so too but a member imaajid mentioned he saw notice about SBOTS on notice board at NIBAF that training would be from dec-may. If the notice was for 18th batch and not 17th then I guess this time around it would be a speedy process.
Let's hope for the best.

well that very important question. but the information that has so far come up it seems it would be a short time even to resign from your current post. shud give atleaast a month

yes, 3 months basic that is. me too not sure if they can start in december. but schedule would be such that they definitely finish b4 ramazan next year i.e. july. so it could be jan to jun

Everyone is worried about what would happen "after" GD/PI, but can someone get some info about the Date of GD/PI?

I asked our Training Manager the exact same question. He said the most it could be delayed was early/mid January, but it won't go beyond that.

Yes, that's exactly it. Two weeks training from 4th to 16th. And I have no idea about any YPIP dates, sorry.
