last time minimum 70 marks were required overall,and 50% marks form each section.

It was nothing like 50% in each section in YPIP.. it was just 70 % of total marks. That was 65% in each section in sBOT.

dear i did appear last time, i got 78, and appeared in interview, its confirmed

i know some persons having marks more than 70,last time, but they were not called for interview because of not having 50 % in each section.
but this criteria is not fixed, they will set the criteria depending upon the scoring trend.

You appeared in interview then why you could not make through this. What is your cgpa

my cgpa is quite good, what i think is that its my academic background due to which i could not make it, i have done bachelors in electronics. or may be my interview was not good enough. but i am hoping this time positively...

OK the good news is that I have gotten all the answers right as per discussed in this forum (except the 105degree clock, I selected 110 degree, bad luck) BUT the bad news is that I am not sure about the questions that have not been discussed or answered yet.. Like the Mule one and the other one with the space left after stacking the walls...
And about the time issue, I already knew that it would be difficult to do 100 questions in 120 minutes so I zipped through the english section without a second thought and did it in 1 hr, (that was a feat on it's own) the reason being that I knew no matter how much more time I thought about these verbal section questions I would still remain confused so I went with my initial reactions. Quantitative part, I didn't study that much. I even selected a few without trying to solve them coz I didnt know how to!! but That Indiabix/pix site really helped me alot in revising my maths skills (thanks to who ever suggested it on this forum. And GK, Oh gosh thats a story to b told.. It was like Slumdog Millinare... All I did was look through the noble prize winners and current ministers.. I do not want to say this but I really didnt know worldcup kahan hoga, kis member ko halaq kia gaya ta ... ban kis ko kia gaya ta ... and I did the one about mount everest by simply thinking about which name is suitable to climb a peak (there was an option with Bano in it, and I said no she seems too domestic to climb a chair never mind a peak, now Baig thats sounds like somebody who could climb rocks and mountains)...
but by the Grace of Allah the thukkas were right on target....
AND that dear fellows was my story of luck.. I hope I do not have to write my story of misery, i.e. the story that I was not selected...

Anyone knows about the result date ?

.I made a blunder with the clock question.i selected 110 degrees.and there were unfortunately many questions in which i made lame guesses because of not being too good in maths.English was not that tough as people have told me but was indeed lengthy.and am so happy that i went through the nobel prize winners and ministers .they earned me 2 confirmed marks .The people who have given previous tests fot YPIP,they are of the view that this time nts has made a very stupid test.this test is not worth for selecting people for sbp.now i don't know what they mean by this .i am keeping my fingers crossed.
