Yes last year YPIP they selected on 70% overall, not sure about 50% in each section (but it is almost a mandatory requirement).

However, it all depends on output of the candidates.

last year in junior officer test there was no criteria for sections. if you have scored on aggregate, above cut off you were called for the interview.

with sbp tests it's not compulsory to score above a certain score in every section. it depends on candidates that how have they performed on average. i remember in islamabad centre there were few candidates for the interview who said they have scored above 65% in gk (the portion due to which no criteria was placed in JO test for scores in sections)

so amen to jetpack, let's stay positive and hope for well.

Can any one tell me how long it will take them to announce the result of the test? As usually the result of NTS-conducted test is announced quite quickly. But 3 days have been passed and there is no news of its result.

SBP tests are usually announced after 14 or 15 days ...

there was question about type of investment, options included Green field investment, brown field investment and 2 others. what was the correct answer, any one knows?

I think the statement included setting up a new venture something like that. & answer could be Green Field Investment..

Brown Field Investment'
When a company or government entity purchases or leases existing production facilities to launch a new production activity. This is one strategy used in foreign-direct investment.

'Green Field Investment'
A form of foreign direct investment where a parent company starts a new venture in a foreign country by constructing new operational facilities from the ground up. In addition to building new facilities, most parent companies also create new long-term jobs in the foreign country by hiring new employees.

so that question was about green investment .

Last year merit cut off for SBPs test was:
75 in total and 60 % in each section for Asst Directors .
70 in total and 50 % in each section for YPIP 2.
70 in total for junior officers..

I think test was difficult as compare to previous year
