Do they follow open merit or the regional quotas? I heard from someone that government's formulated quota system is observed. If so, why don't they advertise the number of vacancies and the related allocation of vacancies among the regions? Does anyone know?

What are the chances of a Karachi-ite who has qualified but is on border line having secured just 65 per cent. 28 in verbal, 19 in quantitative and 18 in GK.

Same here. I think score alone, does not matter in selection. They have some secret formula for ultimate selection which I think is a combination of academics, interview performance and NTS score. I have seen many candidates scoring high in NTS test but are ultimately not selected and vice versa. Anyhow, for a person like you who is on border line should consider it as a do or die situation and put his 100% in interview.

Salam Everyone,
I have a query regarding the GD.
Will there be further filtering of candidates for the GD out of ones who have qualified the test or all the qualified candidates will be called in?

Sorry to say, I think the NTS doesn't take requests for rechecking of papers. If they were to take such requests they would have certainly uploaded some application form for the purpose. However, you should contact NTS to have official word in this regard.

In this regards, you should contact the NTS office. As far as I know, I had a query and they replied me the next day promptly. You should mail on coord@nts.org.pk and ask them about the rechecking of SBP-BSC 4th batch paper. Only they can answer your query.

out of total 685 candidates from multan centre only 13 could make it.

Only 4 candidates qualified out of 328 from Bahawalpur centre. Roll no, start from 150001 to 150328.

There will be no further filtering of candidates . All the qualified candidates will be invited for GD provided that they send their documents to SBP latest by December 5.
