I 'll Ask u not to go for Botany..Bcz its lengthy and Scoring subject But if it is ur subject and u r comfortable with it then go a head..And any subject is doable for you if u hv interest in it..and r devoted... irrespective of whether you have studied them before or not..That is what i Have learned..From Seniors and other guides..Wish you Best of luck..

Thanks alot dear for your concern and your wishes, same goes for you. Yeah I am very much sure about botany that I can do it. But little confused about Business Administration. As I was thinking of dropping it and go for International Relations as I have heard that IR and Current Affairs are related to eachother so it is easy to prepare for IR. Right now only emphasizing on compulsory subjects, but you know have to make up mind.

Thanks for your concern sir. Actually the thing is having background of both Social Sciences and Basic Sciences I have interest in lot of subjects. Like I wanna go for both PA and BA but they couldnt be opted together. Then I wanna go for International Relations, Economics and Journalism. But confusion still on mind I opted for Business Administration. Though now I am thinking to leave it for International Relations. Thats why I requested seniors to help me with it...I have also gone through the last papers..
But right now I am only concentrating on the compulsory subjects, But wanna be sure about the optionals also to make up mind.
Regards.

You can opt IR and journalism both are good subjects but IR requires analytical approach. Every subject can be opted if a person has interest and with hard work it can be easily covered.

dear i would suggest that u go for zoology bcoz a lot of senoirs discouraged me for geography as being very lengthy especially paper 1 and paper is based on general questions and a lot of ratta is required. A doctor friend who cleared css in 2011 also suggested me zoology but i refrained bcoz i already made my mind over psychology. Hope this helps

Dear for sociology there are three good books from Taga, Javed jiskani baloch and the one currently i am using that is of Samiullah Shaikh it is also a good book and another thing u can also consult books of foreign authors for concepts.
Reading book upon book is not beneficial as the paper pattern relies on the aptitude of the aspirant just go through concepts. Same is the case of journalism i can suggest u some big fat books but will recommend u Journalism from A to Z by Sayyid tanvir abbas naqvi. Once again dont expect any questions coming from book u need to understand the concepts and theories. This information is not from myself but by asking from may senoirs and also my elder brother who have qualified. Hope this helps

AOA,
the best books for sociology is
Sociology by Horton and Hunt
Pakistani Society by Dr Iqbal Choudary

to get good marks and to get clear concepts buy these books.it will prove more than sufficient .because these two will give u concepts of sociology related to both eastern and western societies.and explain all school of thought.
even if u people only buy Iqbal choudary book it is also sufficient it has easy language and author described all concepts in understandable any interesting manner.

regards
