As for as the current situation is concerned, I believe Ahsan Iqbal's summary won't get approved because in this critical situation PM won't annoy Bureaucracy. Secondly FPSC is all set to advertise on previous eligibility criteria. The only bleak hope left is Senate as it has got approved unanimously and there is no controversy on it. The time is too short so get together, brainstorm and execute.

This is not only age relaxation. Planing Commission has recommended other reforms as well like cluster based, mid career recruitment etc. A simple BA bureaucrat will never want a foreign qualified person from academia or corporate to work with them. On the other side Senate has solely recommended age relaxation which has no controversy but Chairman Senate will have to gear up for its approval which he isn't doing.
