Just focus on your life guys, if they don't want age relaxation then Allah (swt) has bigger plans for us, just leave it and find your purpose. There is more to life. May Allah (swt) help us all.

The news is still not reliable! Didn't appear in Dawn, etc but in a Urdu newspaper express whose editorial team was against the increase in age limit and educational qualification.
Wait for the official announcement though!

Wait for the official announcement though!

I think it is appropriate to write a comprehensive letter to pm secretariat regarding our stance before official announcement

PM's decision is correct as far as qualification is concerned.Even in UK and our neighbouring India the qualification required for civil service exam is bachelors. So increasing it to masters in Pakistan would have been unfair for many candidates. However, there is no harm in increasing age limit.

Yes, Increasing qualification would not fetch qualitative result unless candidate is not serious enough to work smart thus, it is quality of study not quantity of qualification which decides the fate of an aspirant. Besides, age limit i can not comment exactly, as I have seen majority of aged aspirants round about 35 to 38 years old during my all three CE attempts who probably shortened their ages; pretending to be around 23 to 28, and it can be noticed by the mal practices of public institutions in previous governments tenure and suppose government augments years further then what could we expect? 40s or 45 year old candidates? lol

28 age limit should be for the ones who have 14 years of education and 30 age limit for the ones who have 16 years of education, to make everyone happy.

1) They should introduce an easy screening test with a lax passing grade (say, 50% marks overall requirement to pass),
2) There should be no limit to the number of candidates who can pass the screening test and appear for the exams
2) 14 years of education is fine
3) Age limit should be increased to 30 years

This would make sure only eligible candidates appear in the exams, while not eliminating the chance of worthy candidates to have a shot.

How do I become PM to approve these?
