My suggestion is to do CA and spare time to sit for the CSS exam aswell.if you clear CSS good! join civil services... otherwise carry on with CA or what ever profession one might be in...........

Well Bro, u hv to select 1 field out of CSS & CA for which u invited the views of ppl. I think, from as much as ppl u will get opinion, u will be landed in further confusion. Coz opinion/views vary from person to person and situation to situation. As I hve gone through whole threads which reveal that ppl suggested you CA or CSS based on their purely personal experience. I recommend, whiling selecting field of study, give preference to ur aptitude and strong area of study rather than to implement forced decision by any friend or parents. As for as comparison is concerned, it is really agonizing to compare such fields of study which demands highly caliber talent. No doubt, both CSS and CA r hardest fields of study in Pakistan and to compare them means to let down either CSS or CA student which is sheer injustice. CA is simply the highly paid job whereas CSS is highly powerful job. It is immense difference. 2nd it depends the way of life u intend to lead, either highly paid without power or low paid with high power. Some ppl opt to CSS with the view to lead highly paid job with powers simultaneously. CSS is surely low paid job if u live within fair means and life with Halal income is highly desirable in Islam. Both field of studies have great importance and go for a study which ur conscience and aptitude force u. To get the opinion is not bad option but it is well said, MASHWAR SUB KA SUNO UR KARO APNI MARZI. To me, CSS AND CA both superb fields.
