@ammar7860

CA:
Tuff life for atleast 6 years
Earn in 6 digits after qualifying CA
Corporate life
Busy and silent life
If you cant qualify you can even serve in private sector on handsome salary

CSS:
1 to 2 years struggle
Earn in 5 digits if honesty is the best policy otherwise there is no limit
Bureaucratic life
High profile life
Political and state know-how
Social status
If you can't qualify you have other ways to join Govt. Commissioned jobs

first of all let me tell you that when i took CE-2008 attempt I was waiting for my Module-F result to be announced, I took my f papers in December 2007, so i couldn't get good time to prepare well for CSS. Although I passed CSS but my allocation will not be upto the mark (in Top-3 groups)

Now I am Chartered Accountant ( Alhamdillah)...No social life, work like a machine, no respect in the powerful society (even a constable can slap on your face and you cann't do anything),pay is good but you never lead a company as there will be an IBA graduate over your head, you don't have any say towards the functioning of the country's machinery. After qualifying CA if you want to have a good life you must move outside pakistan.CSS is 10000000000000 times better than CA if u r living in Pakistan.

In CSS although pay is limited but one can always have a side business going. as your knowledge is always with you. You have recognition, have a lot of social recognition, get your problems solved within limits, have a major role to play towards the efficient functioning of the country's machinery. Your kids are respected by others too ( that is also in CA but not that much)

By the way I am the son of a Bureaucrat and I have seen BOTH fields VERY closely and let me assure you, CSS is better for those people who keep their self esteem as a the top priority. (I thin you got the point)

Exclamation CSS Is The Real Men's Life

Brother! CA is nothing in front of CSS,
CSS is real men's Life
CSS is the Competitive Exam for earning Glory not Gold
CSP's Life is the real Life other wise you are living in reverie,
One CSP is lot more batter Pakistani then Engineer, Doctor or CA.
CSS is the Study of your Own country.
CSS is the study of your own self.

I have experienced that I was living in a lie. I have done TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING but I don't know even about my country.

When I start Preparing for CSS I find the World Living around me.
I have learn about ISLAMYAT, Which I had forgotten after 2nd Year of Pre Engineering.
I come to know about world else then Engineering. Now I'am satisfy by my own self, that I'm alive.

CSS is The real Life.
Go for CSS, CA is nothing.......
After CSS you will become Loin.
After CA you would be another Jerry the Mouse in the backyard's hole......

No Offense Sorry for the Harsh Words.

Dear this is not the end of the game. You are soliciting comments on CSS forum where you can receive biased comments for CA. You should visit CA forumS so as to strike the balance. I am in favour of CSS but you should set priorities and do consult with CA forumS that may help you to decide after judging both the sides.
Majority of our members is crazy about CSS so you will hardly find any comment against CSS.

css is the best if u clear it. whish is very difficult and your luckiness also accounts. otherwise ca is a professional technical degree.now it is your choice to select between both of these.

The suitability of CSS or CA as your career depends upon your apptitude. If you want to come in the limelight and gain power then CSS is the best option but if you are interested in corporate life then opt for CA.

For God Sake compare apples with apples not oranges.....One can compare CA with MBA, Acturial Sciences,CFA,MS,Msc,MA, MBBS, BDS or BE but CSS is something different.....it is a competitive exam, while others are qualifying exams...CSS does'nt earn you a degree or not even a qualification for that matter...Anyone who opts for CSS needs bachelors but people from all fields come and try their luck and competency.....Yo need a professional qualification to earn bread and butter and its good if people with professional qualifications join the civil services...after all civil sevices is also a profession isnt it?
