i am not a senior but in my humble opinion and in the light of knowledge which i have gained from my prestigious seniors of this forum,i would through light on some aspects of these subjects
Indopak History: as my friend as suggested above..it's two in one..if you prepare for it you can also cover the syllabus of Pakistan Affairs as well.IndoPak is also a good subject as far as marks are concered.overall it's a good one. Muslim History: it's a very very high scoring subject.I have heard that some candidates scored even 170+ in this subject. Political Science: some of the seniors told me that if you are exceptional student..you should go for it..it's is quite lenghty..and technical as well but if you are mediocre then opt for another subject such as Geography etc. One of the plus point of polscience is that it goes very well with constitutional law..if you are thinking to opt constitutional law then by studing polscience you would cover almost all the syllabus of constitutional law. i hope it's clear.

Why not Geography?
Quote:
Well your profile says you're Petroleum Engg. student.... . Well what i'd humbly suggest is Geography. Excellent scoring subject. Physical Geography (paper 1) is a bit hard in the beginning because it seems all new but once you get the hang of it its just the same as Everyday Science. You must have studied rocks and deep earth drilling in Engg. and technically you covered the Rocks and Internal earth structure chapters already. Human Geography (paper 2) is a general paper. Yes, you have to go through the books but not as intensively as Paper 1. You have loads of time for the 2011 papers and the course is not that much of a burden. Paper 1 is easily covered from numerous books available and the internet. I suggest to finalize your choice talk to anybody who has passed the papers with Geography as their optionals. But if you ask me personally Geography is the way to go. Best of luck Engineer Saib Last edited by H. R. Akhunzada; Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 07:35 PM. Reason: , |
