Well, here comes the difference between a science and a non-science study background, science students can well understand and relate these all topics with physiology, but even then these topics are very easy to comprehend, I agree that in development part, we need to understand whole process and system in detail, but only till prenatal phase, in the post natal, we read that how a child grows up with the changes in environment with respect to his or her own growth patterns so it is quite natural and easy to relate with our life, similarly motivation, emotions and specifically learning is very familiar for us, as we know how we can make a relation between our emotions and bodily changes, which are explained in theories of emotion and same is the case with motivation, don’t we know in what ways we get motivated? Obviously some facts and scientific aspects are needed to be remember and cram but as compared to the natural sciences it is interesting to read and easy to understand. Due to space shortage I can’t explain all these topics in understandable form unfortunately, but psychology is not a subject to be crammed, in disorders, can’t we relate that how a psychic patient behaves in an unusual manner and exhibit an anti social behavior? Yes their symptoms are confusing though.

Also, It is not easy to remember Causes, Symptoms & Cure of 16 Disorders

To cram a few topics is the need of every subject, after all everything is not possible to understand.

Shehar bano's both books are good for initial understanding of the subject and Robert Feldsman's book is also a good one.

Understanding psychology by Robert Feldsman, and Shehar Bano's books for psychology you will easily get, by telling the name of author, yes, they are for Bsc/B.A psychology syllabus.

I personally believe that one should study the books of Psychology instead of Syllabus or Past papers b4 opting the same. Many students opt this sub & finds it difficult to recall, especially aspirants having Humanities background. (no doubt the syllabus is short)

Shehar Bano's books are more than sufficient for good marks in CSS, one can also consult "Psy by Rakhshanda (Part 1) for better understanding of the subject.
Last but not the least, coaching from a specialist teacher is very necessary for 180+ marks as the pattern of the paper is very tricky.

but at least you can use your common sense in some general questions of psychology, but in geography you need to have a strong hold on the topics either you have learned it through strong ratah or well memorization.
