Civil Service and Married Life
I'd like to request my seniors to tell me about the way a civil servant, esp a female, can manage her life if she is married......As per the schedule given by one of my kind seniors, its tough to be a day scholar,or to do daily outback if the family resides at the distance of 50 miles......what should one do then? would it be wise to get married before CTP starts?
should the option of marriage after CTP+STP be considered? |

Good Question!!!
I have not experienced this thing but as per me, it does not matter if you get married before CTP. Well, my seniors here will guide you better!!

Married Female Csp
Your question just seems exact feelings of coming up (female) CSP’s , well a question hit me, currently how many married female CSP are attached with the forum for further guidance? I think their ratio is quite gloomy. Female CSP can guide new comers the possible hurdles and challenges in the way to career. I put my request to such a celebrity to guide and share experience.
Obviously, without support of family members it is impossible to be a career woman. |

My Suggestion
Quote:
In my view, you should consider marrying after FPOE(Final Pass Out Exams) which are conducted after CTP and STP. You may see the results of last 5 years or so of FPOE to analyze the situation; many fail in FPOE in first attempt and loose seniority. Also, if one is unable to give proper time to her new family (i.e. husband & his family) soon after marriage its not considered very good in Pk. Also, to manage new borns(babies) during CTP STP & before FPOE is a mess...... what about when u'll go for study tours, attachments etc. ..... life'll become very hard to manage. So to avoid this scenario, as per my suggestion, I strongly believe that you should consider marrying after FPOE. Decision rests with you as per your circumstances at present. regards, sincerely, Noman ! |

Thanks, you exposed the actual situation, how much time will consume in CTP and STP approximately… just a rough idea…. It is little bit confuse for somebody to hold up till the FPOE. I also want to know about this exam too.

Well, what if a female is already married with an infant? Is she allowed to leave the CTP/ STP premises after classes to attend to family or can the child be allowed to stay with her in the dorm for the whole tenure after taking some sort of special permission or otherwise? Surely, an infant cannot stay without his mother even if the god-forsaken husband can
If anybody knows any information regarding this, kindly let me know... |
