Default 1st Term in full swing
The 1st Term is in full swing. We are studying three subjects 'Economic Analysis, Public Ad and Organisational Bahavior'.

last Monday we had tests of all three subjects.

Last week there were field visits for two days where several groups, each comprising of some 20 probationers, went to different departments e.g. Police, Customs etc. to observe their functions and working. It was a good experience.

Volleyball championship is also going on.

CTP is going good

Default @Baloch Night and Faiz Night
On 2nd March we celebrated Baloch Night at Cafe24 where Baloch traditional music was played and dance was performed. It was a good gathering.


On 3rd March, Faiz Day was celebrated by our Literary Club at CSA's Jinnah Auditorium. Guests were Madam Muneeza Hashmi, Madam Saleema Hashmi and Adeel Hashmi who discussed about Faiz's life and work. Some probationary officers recited poems of their own and some recited collection from poetry of Faiz. It was followed by a musical function. It was really an enjoyable event.

Default Guest Night and Syndicate visit
On 5th March we had a Guest Night at CSA where senior Commoners from various occupational groups/services came. We had an opportunity to meet them and have interactive discussion with them. The event was followed by a dinner. Me and many of my colleagues from PSP had dinner with DIG security Lahore. He shared many events and lessons from his professional life with us. It was a nice experience.


Today our syndicate fellows had a visit to the Director ML&C (Punjab) office in Lahore Cantt. He briefed us about the working and organisation of cantonment boards and relevant details. It was an informative visit.

The NSPP has been awarded the status but personally i think it will take quite some time before they can do so... as they don't have coordination between csa and other academies..it is only your ctp and stp combined together that can give u requisite credit hours..besides the biggest problem is the non - availability of PHD staff ( Permanent) which is pre requisite for a degree awarding institution.

The mid term exams (for 1st term) are scheduled to be held tomorrow and the day after...

most of CSA is stuck in rooms and library.. studying economics, discussing Public Ad, cramming accounting, boning up on organizational behavior etc...

it's a good scene... i am enjoying it...

Default First Term ends...
Last week we had a marvelous 'Bolan Night'... it was a fun-filled event at CSA and all probationers enjoyed the Baloch traditional music, dance, cuisine and poetry etc. It was a wonderful event.

Tomorrow and the day after we have our final exams for the first term; after which we will leave for CST (country study Tour). My group is going to district Okara for 10 days...

Smile CST begins...
The papers are over and now we are going for CST (country study tour)...

groups going to Sindh will leave tomorrow while some groups like ours' will leave on Monday...
