well i will go questionwise...

Lodges are good... But since they are good, they are normally occupied also most of time... You apply and get your name on the waiting list. On you turn you get it. These are basically studio appartments of 1-2 rooms with kitchen and bathrooms etc.

Work at Ministry depends on your designation. You get Political desk so normal correspondence and many other tasks like Briefings, minutes, tps, concept papers , presentations etc.. and in yet other like protocol your work is different and similarly in adminitration its different...

Clingendael Insititue is one of the best institutes of the world in diplomatic and international relation studies...Eminent scholars come to give you lectures. Its worth mentioning to be there...

I never said people from far off areas think much before coming..its all your desire and passion which matters...

Accomodation Allowance or house rent is given to you as per 45% of your basic pay after you complete your probation period that is your ctp and stp and you join Ministry.. In case you get a house, you are not given that

Can someone from FSP shed light on:

1. How many languages are in the FS program which the new officer can choose from? Are these included: French, German, Arabic, Spanish, Chinese, Turkish, Russian ?

2. Which countries can a Pakistani diplomat travel to without visa (with the diplomatic passport)

Q1: Languages differ every time, depending on how many languages officers are already doing... normally chinese, arabic, spanish, russian, japanese, portugese etc are there.

Q2: there is a list of around 40+ countries and indonesia recently included. U can search that on google, you will find it

Is it true that FS officers get protocol and enjoy a lavish life? i believe salary in given , according to the currency in area of posting , what if its an african country , , in which case the money would be worthless when converted to pak rupees , and if area of posting is an expensive city , you wont be able to save enough when you come back home? is it true

Dear sir

i want to ask you that why our foreign service is not yet free and independent. Why she take dictations from foreign powers. Pakistan is misrepresented in the world and we can not do any thing. I think its the responsibly of young diplomats like you to represent the country with the eyes of Pakistani and do not take it as US observes.

May FSoP be as powerful as US Army nay Pakistan Railway.

Regards

M Mazhar Jadoon
