Default How long does a FSP officer serves abroad?

i wanna ask that how long a FSP officer normally serves himself abroad !

It depends on case to case basis..Normally its like 1-2 years in Pakistan and 6 years abroad but then officers do choose to live in Pakistan longer as well... Roughly u can say 60% abroad and 40% in Pakistan .

Question feasibility of taking the spouse along with you during the language course

@ scorpsshadow
Can a foreign servant take his wife along with him when he goes to a foreign university for the language course at the commencement of his service? Is it prohibitively expensive to take your spouse along with you or is it manageable? I have heard the state doesn't bear the expenditure of spouse during the language course? I just want to get an idea of the expenditures involved and the feasibility of taking the spouse along with you during the language course as well.
