IG Vs PMS Punjab
In the wake of better service prospects and assurance by provincial Govt to give fare share of postings to PMS Officers in Punjab,How PMS can be compared with Information Group.I know few officers from PMS Batch -2 who have been appointed on deemed -to-be good posts such as DMO, Special Judicial Magistrate, TMO etc. One of them told me that he is going to be posted DDO(R) in Punjab.
